Now Hiring: Marine Parts Specialist

Job Summary:
Fogh Boat Supplies has an immediate requirement for an experienced Marine Parts Specialist. In this key role, you will be responsible for assisting retail and wholesale customers with all parts related needs. Help people get what they need to get out on the water. From sunglasses to halyards, dock parties to ocean crossings, our customers have diverse needs and we aim to provide the best possible advice and customer service to each of them. Boating/sailing/marine knowledge is an asset.

As a member of Team Fogh we are looking for someone who can:
- Quote and fulfill customer orders for marine parts- this includes identifying pricing & availability from our various suppliers.
- Utilize math skills to calculate prices and quantities
- Provide excellent phone etiquette when assisting customers with inquiries
- Collaborate with customers to identify solutions to various problems on their boat- this can range from identifying and quoting on a replacement engine part, advising on basic electrical/electronics issues, to finding the best wood finishing product for a customer. We try to help our customers with everything boating!

- Design and build battery cables based on customer specifications. This has the possibility to expand into rope and structural wire work.
- Support sales efforts by recommending additional parts or services
- Perform cashiering duties accurately
- Maintain inventory levels and conduct regular stock checks
- Basic knowledge of boating maintenance to assist customers effectively
- Stay informed about market trends in the recreational marine industry

Skills:
- Strong order fulfillment abilities
- Proficiency in math for pricing, quoting and quantity calculations
- Excellent phone etiquette for customer interactions
- Experience in marine or automotive parts/sales preferred
- Sales skills to promote additional products or services
- Cashiering experience is beneficial
- Ability to maintain accurate customer order records
- Knowledge of boating is a plus
