Boating/sailing/marine knowledge is an asset, but definitely not necessary (we’re happy to teach you what you need to know).
Job Description and Requirements:
As a member of the Fogh Team you can expect to:
Help people get what they need to get out on the water. From sunglasses to halyards, dock parties to ocean crossings, our customers have diverse needs and we aim to provide the best possible advice and customer service to each of them.
Assist in the maintenance of our retail store. Empty shelves are not helpful, so restocking and tidying are regular tasks but we also try to keep on top of changing up the look of the store to highlight new and/or seasonal products.
Provide excellent phone etiquette when dealing with customers.
Perform cashiering duties accurately.
Social Media & Marketing experience is an asset.
Be available to work various events when permitted, such as the Toronto International Boat Show, and other events whether at the store or off premises
Learn...A lot. Customer needs and product offerings change constantly and we are always on the prowl for exciting new products to fill our shelves (or obscure old products to solve very specific problems!).
Get your hands dirty. Stock shipments come in almost daily during the season and need to be put away.
