Now Hiring: eCommerce & Customer Engagement Coordinator
Fogh Boat Supplies has an immediate requirement for an experienced eCommerce & Customer Engagement Coordinator. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats — from managing online product listings and processing orders to helping customers over the phone and creating engaging social media content. You will be helping people get what they need to get out on the water. From halyards to oil filters, dock parties to ocean crossings, our customers have diverse needs and we aim to provide the best possible advice and customer service to each of them. Marine industry experience is an big asset.
Key Responsibilities
eCommerce & Online Sales
- Maintain and update the online store (product listings, inventory, pricing, SEO)
- Process and fulfill online orders accurately and efficiently
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure product data is accurate and up to date
- Monitor website performance and troubleshoot issues with the eCommerce platform
Customer Service & Phone Support
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and online chat
- Offer product advice, recommendations, and technical support
- Assist with in-store customer service during peak times
- Handle returns, exchanges, and order tracking
Marketing & Social Media
- Develop and schedule content for social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, etc.)
- Create email newsletters and promotional campaigns
- Help plan and execute seasonal marketing initiatives and sales
- Analyze engagement and performance metrics to inform strategy
Skills & Qualifications
- 2+ years experience in a customer service or eCommerce role
- Strong communication skills — written and verbal
- Familiarity with eCommerce platforms (e.g., Lightspeed, Shopify, WooCommerce, or similar)
- Comfortable with social media tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Canva, Buffer)
- Basic graphic design and photo editing skills are an asset
- Knowledge of boating, sailing, or marine products is a strong plus
- Self-starter with excellent organization and time management skills
