The Raymarine® R28170 Standard-Arm Forward Wind Transducer is compatible with i60, ST60, ST290, ST70, i70 and ST60+ instruments. It provides both wind speed and direction for use underway or at anchor.
Allows the connection of a VHF radio equipped with NMEA 0183 Input wires to the GPS Output of a Raymarine SeaTalkng data network; this allows the VHF to have DSC position information.
The i60 Wind instrument display calculates both true and apparent wind speed and angle. Wind angle is presented on an easy-to-understand analog needle gauge, while wind speed is reported on its high-contrast LCD readout.
